This year was my first year at YALC as an author, which was so exciting! Early copies of Editing Emma went on sale and I got to sign copies for the first time ever. It was very strange, but wonderful, watching her go off into the world without me and it was so nice to meet lots of lovely YA readers.
It was also the first time I had clients at YALC as an agent. I started accepting submissions about two years ago and it was amazing to see two of my debut authors there this year. Early copies of Emily Critchley’s Notes on my Family went on sale and early bound manuscripts of Michelle Kenney’s Book of Fire went to some very lucky readers in proof giveaways!
